Champion for a Child

According to the Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) and the National Health Service (NHS), aerobic activity should be done 60 minutes a day ranging from moderate to vigorous aerobic activity and at least three days of the week should include muscle strengthening activities. Strong evidence also shows that high levels of physical activity in children and adolescents are associated with many benefits, including cardio-respiratory and muscular fitness, bone health, mental health and healthy weight. Because roughly 50% of families in the West Allis - West Milwaukee School District live at or below the poverty level, many children cannot afford to participate in after school sports programs.

Our sports programs help children gain fundamental skills and learn the importance of teamwork all while being physically active. Help us KEEP CHILDREN ACTIVE.
