Know Before You Go

  • Dress for the weather. If needed, we can leave jackets, umbrellas, ponchos, hiking boots, etc on the bus.
  • Bring some spending money. Some trips may include the opportunity to shop.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years of age.
  • Reservations are transferable and may be given to another person if you cannot attend the trip.
  • All adult trips depart from the Recreation Center located at 2450 S. 68th Street

Come escape with the WAWM RCS Department! We host day trips to a variety of locations where you and a friend can explore new places together. The day is yours to check out local restaurants, stores, attractions, museums, festivals, etc.
 

NEW Port Fish Days Festival - Saturday, July 19

Come join us as we celebrate 61 years of fish and fun in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Known for being one of the largest one-day outdoor fish frys in the country, Port Fish Days is one of the biggest fundraisers in the community – full of events and fun for the whole family! Join us for an unforgettable Port Fish Days Festival!

Day Trip to Lake Geneva - Saturday, August 16

Spend a relaxing day window shopping through the hidden gem of Lake Geneva. Enjoy the quaint antique shops or spend some time walking along the shoreline and taking in the scenic beauty.
The bus will drop us off at a central location and guests will be able to make the day their own by venturing out with friends and family. Lake Geneva will also be hosting their 63rd Annual Venetian Festival this weekend.

Warrens Cranberry Festival - Saturday, September 27

Did you know that the cranberry is Wisconsin’s state fruit? Join us for the day as we travel to Warrens, Wisconsin to experience the 52nd Annual Cranberry Festival. The festival offers craft booths, contests, flea markets, marsh tours, food, demonstrations and a
farmers market. Enjoy the day and learn a bit about Wisconsin’s history. Come for the cranberries, stay for the fun!

Up for an adventure? We host a variety of Mystery Trips throughout the year. The only person who truly knows where we are going is our Program Manager, Amanda Schwichtenberg and the bus driver!
