Get in the game with NFL FLAG Football, the premier youth flag football program has come to the WAWM RCS Department! Designed for boys and girls of all skill levels, our league focuses on fun, teamwork, and skill development in a fast-paced, non-contact format. This year we will have an exclusive, all-girls league that runs concurrently with the co-ed league. Players will learn the fundamentals of football while building confidence and a love for the game. Each participant will receive an official NFL FLAG jersey and a flag belt. Join us this summer and experience the excitement of flag football!

IMPORTANT: Flag Football is a non-contact sport. Players wear flags that hang along their sides by a belt. Instead of tackling the person in possession of the ball, the opposing team needs to pull off a flag. While flag football rules are designed to keep players safe, they also create an engaging, fast-paced version of football without the physical contact.

FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUES

In our 2025 Summer Activity Guide, the TEAL writing marks our GIRLS ONLY flag football league which is designed to provide a fun and supportive environment for girls to develop their skills, build confidence, and compete with their peers.

While our co-ed leagues remain open to all, the Teal Division ensures an inclusive space for female athletes who prefer to play in a girls-only setting.
