Summer Action Adventures Camp at Nathan Hale & West Allis Central

LEARNING BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES

Join the adventure this summer! Our summer camps provide a fun, inclusive, and safe environment for 11 weeks. Students will learn and grow daily through a series of games, activities, crafts and much more centered around a weekly theme. Flyers that include themes, activities, special events and meals will be emailed out on Friday for the following week. Breakfast and lunch included.

Summer Camps are offered for students who completed 4K-5th grade during the 2024-2025 school year.

Summer Action Adventures Camp - Mission Statement

Summer Action Adventures Camps provide each camper with daily opportunities to grow and explore the world around them. Camp is about making new friendships, gaining their own independence, developing confidence and learning that through our core values, anything is obtainable. Summer Action Adventures Core Values:

NATHAN HALE HIGH SCHOOL

Why choose Nathan Hale Camp?

KIDS ON THE RUN: Summer Camp at Nathan Hale High School offers “Kids on the Run.” If you sign your child up for swim lessons during camp hours, camp staff will assist getting your child to and from the program. Please let the camp staff know they are enrolled in the swim lessons and check camp schedule for any field trips or special events that may conflict. Please see youth aquatics class options starting on page 4 (additional fees apply).

SWIMMING: Hale campers will have the opportunity to swim during camp from 11am-12:30pm. Campers will have to pass a swim test in order to swim in the deep end. Campers that cannot pass that test, will be limited to the shallow end of the pool.

GREENFIELD PARK: Hale camp staff leads campers daily on a walking field trip to Greenfield Park.

FEES:

Early Bird Fee: Register before 5pm on Thursday for the following week: $120 RES/$180 NR per week

CAMP STAFF: Our camp staff is composed of educators, parents, college students and high school students.

Staff to Camper Ratio: 4k/5k - 1:10 | 1st-5th grade - 1:15

Why Are We Using CampDoc? It is always the effort of the WAWM RCS Department to improve the quality of our programming we provide to our families. This school year we have made the decision to work with a company called CampDoc. CampDoc is the leading electronic health record system for camps, designed by camp doctors, nurses, and directors. Their secure, easy-to-use web-based solution helps programs manage health forms, medication/allergies and health logging.

ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Campers will have the opportunity to try many different sports, activities, and much more. Summer is the perfect time to try something new!
