The West Allis–West Milwaukee School District has officially approved its new five-year Strategic Plan, reinforcing a student-centered vision for the future. Progress continues on referendum-funded construction projects, including the nearing completion of the West Allis Central Fieldhouse. This month also featured the 3rd Annual Retiree Breakfast and the launch of the Voice Student Advisory Group, fostering connection and student voice as the school year continues with strong momentum.

This event will take place on Tuesday, October 14 from 5-7pm at the Recreation Center.

The 2025–26 school year is off to a vibrant start! From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, students are diving into learning, building friendships, and sharing their talents. Thank you to our staff, families, and community for creating such a supportive, welcoming start to the year.

September is Attendance Awareness Month—a reminder that every day in school matters. Regular attendance supports academic success, social growth, and future opportunities. Together, families, schools, and our community can help students stay present, engaged, and ready to learn.

With the new school year starting soon, we believe that parents/guardians shouldn’t have to make the tough decision between purchasing new school supplies or receiving a new haircut.
